What “AI-ready” actually means.
An AI-ready website is one that AI search engines can crawl, parse and quote accurately. In practice that means server-rendered content, complete structured data, an llms.txt file, self-contained passages that answer one question fully, and explicit entity facts: who you are, where you operate, who you serve.
The last two are the cheapest to add and make the biggest difference. We wrote the full checklist up in What AI-ready actually means for a website.
Scope
What we do.
Crawlability. Content in the HTML, so it is there before any JavaScript runs. We verify by fetching the raw source and finding a sentence from the middle of the page.
Structured data. Organization, Service per offering, FAQPage, Review and Article, as a single @graph with @id references, so an engine reads the nodes as one entity rather than several unrelated fragments.
Quotable passages. The first sentence under every heading answers that heading completely, with detail following. Written that way, any paragraph can be lifted and still make sense, which is exactly what an AI answer does.
Entity facts. Where you are, when you started, who runs it, who you serve, stated in the body copy as well as in schema. That is what lets an engine match you to “best X in Y” with confidence.
Classic technical SEO. Headings in order, alt text, internal linking, redirects, Core Web Vitals, sitemaps. Unglamorous and still decisive.
Reviews
How we handle reviews and ratings.
We mark up your testimonials as Review, attributed to the real person and company. Where you collect genuine star ratings, on Google Business Profile or Clutch, we mark those up too, and they earn rich results honestly. We are happy to help you set up collection so the stars are real and durable.

Working with AI, as well as being found by it.
This page is about being found and quoted by AI engines. If you also want your team to work with AI, asking Claude to draft a post or update a page directly in WordPress, that is part of how we build sites. See connecting your site to Claude.
Proof
How we measure it.
We take a baseline before we start: Core Web Vitals, indexation, impressions, and what the major assistants currently say when asked about you. Then we take the same measurements after, so the difference is visible and attributable.
FAQ
Questions we get asked
Is this different from normal SEO?
It overlaps by roughly seventy per cent. Classic SEO optimises for a ranked list of links; GEO optimises for being quoted inside an answer. Structured data and passage design carry much more weight for the second.
Does llms.txt do anything?
It is a convention rather than a standard, and it costs about an hour. We publish it once the URLs it references exist, so every link in it resolves.
Can you do this without rebuilding our site?
Often, yes. Schema, entity facts, heading structure and internal linking can all be improved in place. We tell you plainly when the rendering approach is the limiting factor.
