Accessibility statement

How this website meets IS 5568 / WCAG 2.1 AA, its known limitations, and who to contact.

Accessibility statement

Our commitment.

Webisus aims for this website to conform with Israeli Standard IS 5568, which is based on WCAG 2.1 Level AA, as required by the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Accessibility Adjustments for Service) Regulations, 2013. We want everyone to be able to use it, including people who use a keyboard, a screen reader, magnification or voice control.

Measures

What we have done.

  • Semantic HTML with one H1 per page and headings in order
  • Full keyboard navigation with a visible focus indicator, and a “skip to content” link
  • Colour contrast checked against WCAG AA for every text and background pair in the design system
  • Text alternatives for meaningful images; decorative images hidden from assistive technology
  • Form fields with visible labels, clear error messages and accessible status announcements
  • Respect for the reduced-motion setting: scroll animations are replaced by still layouts
  • Content that reflows at 400% zoom and on small screens without horizontal scrolling
  • Links that open a new tab, such as WhatsApp and LinkedIn, say so to screen readers

Every page is checked with automated accessibility testing (axe-core, WCAG 2.2 A and AA rules) on desktop and mobile, and reviewed manually with the keyboard.

Tools

Accessibility menu.

The site also offers an accessibility menu (by EqualWeb), opened from the round button at the side of the screen. It lets you enlarge text, change contrast and colours, highlight links and headings, stop animations and switch to a readable font, and it remembers your choices on this device.

The menu is an extra convenience. The site is built to be accessible without it.

Limitations

Known limitations.

The scroll animations on this site (the moving moon and the particle scene on the homepage) are decorative. Assistive technology does not announce them, and all the text they accompany is available as normal page content.

If you prefer less movement, turn on “reduce motion” in your device settings, or use “stop animations” in the accessibility menu, and the site shows a still version. If you find a barrier we have missed, please tell us.

Service

Physical accessibility.

Webisus does not run a public reception office. Meetings are held online or at the client’s premises, and we will arrange any accommodation you need for a meeting in advance.

Contact

Accessibility contact.

If anything on this site is hard to use, or you need information in another accessible format, contact our accessibility coordinator. We will respond within five working days.
