The first week
What we do first.
- Recover access: hosting, domain, CMS and analytics in your name
- Take a full backup and test that it restores
- Update core, theme and plugins on a staging copy, then production
- List what is fragile, what is fine, and what it would take to fix each
Options
Then you decide.
Sometimes the site is sound and needs care. Sometimes parts need rebuilding. Sometimes it is cheaper to start again. You get the options in writing with a fixed number for each, and no obligation to choose us for any of them.
